The Cannery Welcomes My My’s Wood Fired Pizza 🍕 to it’s growing list of Restaurant Row Tenants

Lindale, Texas (June 11, 2020) – The Cannery Lindale, the popular East Texas entertainment destination, is proud to announce My My’s Wood Fired Pizza as the 4th eatery in the plaza’s Restaurant Row.

My My’s new Lindale location is scheduled to open it’s doors in June 2020. Their made-to-order pizzas are topped with fresh toppings and baked to perfection in a wood fired brick oven making each pizza crisp and flavorful.

“My My’s Wood Fired Pizza is a great and unique addition to Restaurant Row, we’re very excited to have them join our growing list of restaurants” said Chad Franke, co-owner at The Cannery Lindale. “Everyone loves pizza and now it will be available at The Cannery for visitors to enjoy.”

My My’s will be located adjacent to The Cannery Courtyard and performance area, where outdoor seating is available for customers to enjoy open-air acoustic concerts. Complementary Wi-Fi will also be available.

The Cannery Lindale Announces Groundbreaking Ceremony for Springhill Suites by Marriott®

📣 Lindale, Texas (May 26, 2020) – Popular East Texas shopping and entertainment destination, The Cannery Lindale, is pleased to announce that Springhill Suites by Marriott® @ The Cannery will formally break ground Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 10 a.m. The upscale hotel will feature 89 spacious and stylish suites and be located adjacent to The Cannery and Darden Harden Park. The hotel is projected to open in June 2021.

“We are thrilled to have such a fine hotel as part of the experience at The Cannery,” said Chad Franke, co-owner of The Cannery Lindale. “Springhill Suites offers a variety of amenities and will give our patrons an enjoyable place to stay while attending various Cannery events, as well as provide the community with a flexible meeting and event space that can be rented for business and social gatherings.”

The Cannery Welcomes Wing Dingers 🍗 to Restaurant Row!

📣The Cannery Lindale announced today the addition of Wing Dinger’s 🍗 to its growing entertainment district. With a projected opening of Spring 2020, Wing Dinger’s will join Roots Coffee Co. and JoJo’s Rock Hard Ice Cream on Restaurant Row.

“We are proud to welcome this popular Texan-owned eatery,” said Chad Franke, The Cannery Lindale co-owner. “Wing Dinger’s family atmosphere and fantastic food are a great addition to the list of dining and specialty foods that visitors can enjoy at The Cannery Lindale.”

Wing Dinger’s has been serving up classic American cuisine since 2005. Menu items include burgers, “fajitos,” chicken wings, tenders, shrimp, onion rings, french fries and more!

📣The Cannery is pleased to announce that JoJo’s Rock Hard Ice Cream 🍨🍦 will be the next addition to the East Texas entertainment district’s growing Restaurant Row!

Opening of the ice cream parlor is anticipated for Spring 2020. It will be located next to Roots Coffee Co. ☕️, and outdoor seating will be available in The Cannery Courtyard.

“We are pleased to welcome JoJo’s Rock Hard Ice Cream to our steadily growing Restaurant Row,” said Chad Franke, co-owner at The Cannery Lindale. “JoJo’s will offer a place for locals and visitors to grab a sweet treat after a meal or after a family excursion to nearby Darden Harvest Park.”

JoJo’s menu items include 32 flavors of hard ice cream, frozen custard, Hawaiian ice, old-fashioned milkshakes, and brownie sundaes.

Roots’ new Lindale location is scheduled to open it’s doors between March-April 2020. It currently has one location in Mineola and serves up a diverse menu of flavorful beverages, from lattes and frappes to hot chocolate and gourmet soda.

LINDALE, TX – Fall in Lindale means a few of my favorite things: Friday Night football with friends, cooler temperatures, and most importantly CountryFest!
Saturday, October 12, 2019, will be the biggest CountryFest ever in downtown Lindale at Blackberry Square. Since 1984, the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce has coordinated Lindale’s CountryFest. In 2017, CountryFest was the largest event in downtown Lindale and it is only, possible because of a coordinated effort by the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce, numerous Community Organizations, the City of Lindale/Visit Lindale, and The Cannery Lindale. This family friendly event entertains thousands of visitors and residents, with arts and crafts, games for the kids, great food, live entertainment, and much more! Every year added variety is given to the expanding crowds. Get up early and stay late, because you are all invited to Lindale for the day!
It all starts in downtown Lindale with the Altra Federal Credit Union Harvest Hustle 5K scheduled at 8:30 a.m., with a portion of the proceeds to benefit: David Powell Food Pantry, LISD Education Foundation, Lindale Fire Department, and Lillie Russell Memorial Library. The Harvest Hustle will begin in the heart of Lindale with check-in taking place in front of The Cannery Stage, adjacent to the Lindale “Pickers Pavilion”. This year’s race is coordinated with locally owned and operated iTri365 Timing & Event Productions and the first 250 to cross the finish line will receive a participation medal. Runners will “get their legs under them” on the flat first half mile traveling through a residential area east on North Street, then turn north onto the challenging rural rolling hills of Iron Mountain Road! The back stretch for runners will again be the rolling hills of Iron Mountain Road, to the west turn onto North Street for the half mile dash to the finish!
Following the Harvest Hustle 5K, stroll through the arts and craft booths, gobble a turkey leg, visit the car show, and bid on auction items. Live music will be playing on the TXM stage and The Cannery Stage all day for your entertainment!

BRAVE TEXAS ANNOUNCES THE VETFEST 2019 RESOURCE FAIR AND CONCERT
US, Texas, Lindale. (September 28, 2019) – BRAVE Texas announces it is hosting the 2019 VetFest Resource Fair and Benefit Concert in Lindale, Texas at The Cannery. The purpose of the resource fair is to link local service agencies to east Texas veterans and their families. The fair is from 11a.m. to 5p.m. and will include area resources, children’s activities, and local vendors. The resource fair is free to anyone, but the concert is $35, and $25 to verifiable veterans. The benefit concert begins at 6:00p.m. and lasts until 11:00 p.m. Sponsor / VIP tables are available starting at $1000 per table.
The benefit concert lineup consists of Ray Wylie Hubbard, Blacktop Mojo, Canann Bryce. BRAVE Texas will have a silent auction with many items from local artisans.

Smith County is home to an estimated 18,000 veterans. The lifetime prevalence rate of PTSD in veterans is estimated to be around 30%. Nationwide, 22 veterans per day take their own lives.
